Terms & Conditions

By booking a lesson with Chrissy's Driving School, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Bookings and payment

Lessons are subject to availability. Payment is required at the time of booking or before the lesson commences. Lesson packs must be paid for in full unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellations and rescheduling

Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged the full lesson fee. We understand that unexpected circumstances can occur and these will be considered at Chrissy's discretion.

Late arrival and no shows

If you arrive late, the lesson will generally still finish at the scheduled time. If you do not attend a booked lesson without notice, the full lesson fee may be charged.

Learner requirements

Learners must hold a valid licence or learner licence appropriate for the lesson and must be legally entitled to drive. Learners should have access to their digital logbook where applicable.

Safety

Chrissy reserves the right to refuse, discontinue or reschedule a lesson if it is considered unsafe to proceed. This may include concerns about a learner's fitness to drive, behaviour, weather, road conditions or vehicle safety.

Alcohol, drugs and medication

Learners must not attend a lesson while affected by alcohol, illegal drugs or any medication that may impair their ability to drive safely. The lesson may be cancelled and charged if Chrissy considers the learner unfit to drive.

Driving tests

Learners are responsible for booking their practical driving test and paying any associated government fees. Use of the driving school vehicle for a test is subject to availability and Chrissy being satisfied that the learner is ready to safely undertake the test.

Lesson packs

Lesson packs are for the person named at the time of purchase and are not transferable without prior agreement. Cancellation requirements also apply to lessons booked as part of a lesson pack.

Weather and unforeseen circumstances

Lessons may be rescheduled where weather, road conditions, vehicle issues or other circumstances make it unsafe or impractical to proceed. Where Chrissy's Driving School needs to cancel a lesson, the lesson will be rescheduled or any amount paid for that lesson will be credited or refunded.

Liability

Chrissy's Driving School will take reasonable care in providing driving instruction and maintaining a safe learning environment. Nothing in these terms excludes any rights or guarantees that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Changes to bookings or these terms

Chrissy's Driving School may update these terms from time to time. The terms applying at the time of your booking will apply to that lesson.
